Living in Italia is something I will always be grateful for. This country is so freaking beautiful that everywhere I go I just need to stop and admire for minutes. I still remember little me living in Romania and watching old italian movies. Those that were filmed in summer time were like a magnet for me. I love summer, it gives me so much life, inspires me so much and I wish it would never end. From clothing to conflicts, lovers and heart breakers, locations ( ahh Italia has some amazing locations, and when an Italian film director makes a film he really knows how to put them in light ) and costumes, everything made me daydream. Sometimes I think about my dreams I had as a child and now I can’t believe that I’m actually living in one of those dreams. Life is so surprising and simply amazing.
As you may know me, you know I’m not one that follows the trends. If I see something that I like I wear it even if it’s not in trends, but with this polka dots skirt ( that happens to be a must for the fashionistas ) things were different. As soon as I saw it in a small store in a city in Romania ( I was there one month ago to visit my beautiful nephews ) I start having flashes with those italian films I used to watch as a kid. And I had to buy it. So here’s for you a look inspired from La Dolce Vita way of living and those old italian summer days. Hope you like it. The truth is I wanted to do these pictures on a vespa that I saw a day before and when we had arrived there the vespa was gone. I was disappointed at the beginning but hey…sometimes you have to work with what you have and try your best.
Stay inspired
