Keeping up with these new times (2020 quarantine edition)

Hello strangers!

Long time no talk. I know. it’s been a crazy March. Last time I updated you it was in February, right before the Covid-19 and the quarantine. I can’t say a lot has happened because we are all in lockdown so… Or I could say that a lot had happened mentally, for all of us but that’s another topic. It’s interesting to see how quick we adapt to these new times. We’re all in quarantine and just trying to do our best while hoping for all this to be over.

I am sorry for all those who had lost something because of this virus. A business, a job, but most painful, a loved one.

I really wish all this wasn’t in vain. I hope that we have learned something. I hear people saying “I want to go back to normal”, but I hope that something has changed and we go back to something better than before.

It’s a shame that a deadly virus made us stop and reflect. We should have slowed down before. We should have gave this break to the earth before. I really think we needed this break too! We needed to stop and think: Where are we going? What are we doing? What do we want? Do we really want what we think we want, what media and tv tells us we should have? Or a minimal life style would be suitable for all of us including our home, the earth?!

There would be so much to talk about, on a deeper level but I will end this article by saying that I only had one week of quarantine, which is this one that is ending, and in all this time I’ve read, I’ve watched Netflix, cooked, drank more red wine than usual, worked out, but most of all spent time on my sunny balcony. I’m so grateful that I have this balcony. I’ve never spent so much time on it as now. And as a passionate content creator that I am, of course that I took the time to create a series of “Balcony Life” pictures that I will share here in the next days. I will start with the first serie that I made. It’s a very raw and simple look just enjoying the sun but most of all reflecting. Hope you like them too.
